Vibha started her dance training at the age of seven with Smt. Girija Rajendran in Dubai, U.A.E. Under Smt. Rajendran's tutelage, she not only gained a solid foundation of Bharatanatyam but was also exposed to other South Indian dance styles such as Mohiniatam and Kuchipudi. Vibha danced all over the United Arab Emirates accompanying her teacher.

Vibha continued her dance training under Smt. Padmini Ravi (Founder, Pradhan Dance Center, Bangalore) who fine tuned her dance skills and perfected her in the famous "Vazhavoor" style of dance.

She was also trained in Carnatic music and dance theory at Pradhan Dance center. With Smt. Padmini Ravi's guidance and encouragement, Vibha performed her Arangetram in 1988. She continued dancing as a member of Smt. Ravi's dance group until she married and relocated to Fairfax, Virginia.

Vibha has a strong passion for the art of Bharatanatyam and wants to pass it on in all its grandeur to the next generation of artists. Vibha teaches interested children in Fairfax, VA
